Over the past week we have seen violent, racially motivated protests take place.

We stand with others and unequivocally condemn these attacks in the strongest possible terms. Such actions are abhorrent and have no place in our society.

At this time, we join with others across the UK to do what we can to help restore calm.

Sport and physical recreation is uniquely placed to bring people together and unify us.

We abhor the violence seen over the past week and are committed to tackling racism.

We must not let the violence, racism and disorder to take away from the cohesion, togetherness and unity we know sport delivers as a positive force for people across the UK every day.
