British Taekwondo Annual Awards 2024 Shortlist

Nominations have now closed for the 2024 British Taekwondo Annual Awards with over 160 nominations received across the award categories.

Shortlisting

After nominations closed each submission was validated against the award criteria, and a long list has been submitted to the awards panel.

Valdiation included carefully reviewing all nominations, making sure each met the general eligibility requirements and any specific award criteria. From the total pool of over 160 nominations, up to six nominees for each award category have been recommended to the review panel.

The number of nominations that came in for these new awards is fantastic.  It shows just how important it is for our members to be able to celevrate each others’ achievements in a variety of different areas.

I offer my congratulations to everyone who received a nomination, and my thanks to everyone who took the time to write a nomination.  Regardless of the final results every nominee should be proud of their achievements and know that they are an important part of our community.

It will be a great night at The Lowry in a few weeks time when we get to find out who has won, and I hope many of the nominees will be able to join us for the celebration.
